Update

I got a dog three weeks ago. His name is Drax the Destroyer. He's 9 or 10 years old. Can't tell what breed. I shot with Ellen Stagg a week or two ago and she snapped this pic of us. The pics I saw looked fantastic and I'm excited to see the results. I hadn't modeled in quite awhile!

Zak and I are getting ready to head to NYC for his show, which opens Oct 7th at Fredericks and Freiser Gallery. I am very eager to get out of LA for awhile.

Last weekend Keith Baker (creator of Eberron) came and ran an adventure for us (Satine, Connie, Zak, me and our friend Darren--who's a camera man for IHIWMA) which was lots of fun.

I'm reading Sartre essays on art and music, finished reading Plagues and Peoples--loved it, watching All Creatures Great & Small (oh, childhood), saw a documentary about Harlan County, Lust Caution, Mongol, Warlords, Being John Malkovich, and some other stuff. Mongol was excellent, Lust Caution was disappointing.

Not much else is new. Same old. Struggling with illness and itching to travel.

Mandy, would it be totally inappropriate to ask for a photo with you and Zak at the exhibit opening? I'm a huge fan of all your works and it'd totally make my nerd-girl fantasy come true (Well, part of it anyway. ;) )

Thank you for the update. :]

Hope you feel better.

Some of the classics are interesting reads. Others are just crap. Personally, enjoyed Francis Bacon.

Back to NYC huh? I may see if I can head over to the exhibition then. Would be nice to head over there with my girl and see what Zak has put together.

Deirdre, it's totally alright to come ask for a photo with me and if Zak's handy he won't mind at all either!

What illness, sweet?
Congrats about your dog, and even more about your reading material! I recomend "On Murder Considered as one of the Fine Arts", by Thomas de Quincey

What a darling. Is he as sweet as he looks?

I'm reading Sartre for my college Existentialism class! Always refreshing to see the pursuit of higher knowledge.

Rock on, Mandy Morbid.

Did you record the session with Keith? I'd really like to hear how he runs his games.

Have fun in NYC. I spent my first weekend there just a month ago and the city has a great ambiance. I still enjoy the smaller city of Indianapolis where I am now, but NYC is a great place to visit.

omg i can't believe you love all creatures as well. It reminds me of being a wee one as well.I love the intro music. You just went up 980 points on your sexiness scale and that is over the usual maximum. You are win.
